§ 110-1. License required

No person shall operate any hack, auto livery, auto dray, jitney, taxicab, or any other conveyance for the transport of persons for hire unless such person has a valid and up-to-date license from the city clerk for such operation pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, except that senior citizen or low income transportation services operated by governmental or not-for-profit corporations shall not be required to obtain a license or be subject to the regulations of this chapter.
